Refund Policy - The Basics
1. Overview
This Refund Policy outlines the terms under which payments made to ShiftLab for training, licensing, and compliance services may be refunded.
By engaging with our services, you agree to the terms set out below.
2. Training Services
Payments for training services are non-refundable once training has commenced.
If a scheduled training session is cancelled by the client:

Cancellations made 48 hours or more in advance may be rescheduled

Cancellations made within 48 hours of the scheduled session may result in forfeiture of the session
3. Licensing & Booking Services
ShiftLab provides booking and administrative support for licensing through third-party authorities (e.g. DLTC).

Booking fees and administrative costs are non-refundable once a booking has been secured

Delays, cancellations, or rescheduling caused by external authorities are outside of ShiftLab’s control and are not eligible for refunds
4. Test-Day Support
Fees relating to test-day support (including motorcycle provision and preparation) are non-refundable once confirmed.
If a driver fails to attend a scheduled test:

The service will be considered forfeited

A new booking will require additional fees
5. Turnkey Packages
For full licensing packages:

A portion of the fee may be refundable only if services have not yet commenced

Once training, bookings, or administrative processes have begun, no refunds will be issued for completed or in-progress services
6. Driver Responsibility
Refunds will not be issued in cases where delays or cancellations occur due to:

Incorrect or incomplete documentation

Failure to attend scheduled training or testing

Failure to meet licensing requirements
7. Exceptional Circumstances
Refunds may be considered at the sole discretion of ShiftLab in exceptional circumstances, subject to review.
